Carcassonne

We woke up early today so that we could make it in time to go to the market in Carcassonne. After the market we would go to the old fortified city of Carcassonne. We got in the car and made our way to the city. When we got there we went to the market. It wasn’t much of a market, but it was nice. After the market we drove to the ancient city. As we drove towards it looked amazing. We could see all the stone towers, buildings, and the big wall that surrounded it. We parked our car just outside of it and walked through the giant stone entrance.

You could tell that this place was a real tourist attraction because there were tons of tacky stores throughout the streets. Even though they were tacky they were still fun to look at. The inside of the fortified city was beautiful too with all the small alleyways. We wondered around until we came upon the museum of torture.
